What is !Journo?
================
  Journo is basically a Diary, it allows you to make short
entries for each day, it is not intended for Appointments
or Reminders, but as a Record of events, a Daily Jotter,
or for Storing useful information.                 PAGE DOWN
  !Journo allows entries of 6 lines of 59 characters for
each day, this should be enough for most uses, since most of
us are not novelists.
  The Program is fairly simple to use, and while not exactly
Perfect Acorn styled, it does use standard, keypresses, like
the PAGE UP/DOWN for scrolling, and ^C & ^P to     PAGE DOWN
cut and paste data, it also uses ^X to delete an entry, this
prompts to check, but you can use UNDO (^U) to undo the last
delete (this also acts as a move function).

Printing from !Journo
=====================
At the moment the format of Printing is fixed and does not
use RISCOS standards, if anyone is willing to donate PRMs
then I will implement a proper printing routine,using the
RISC OS drives. You can print A selection of       PAGE DOWN
months, an individual entry, or the Calendar for a month.

Starting a new Journal.
=======================
Click MENU over the Icon and go to the Create Submenu, enter
then year (this year is the default), and click SELECT   P/D
this will then create a new Journal in Memory, and place the
year under the Icon. The calendar then Appears at the top
of the screen, simple click on the Day and an entry appears,
clicking MENU over this will bring up a menu with two items
Goto Today, and print, print simply prints a calendar, goto
today takes you to Today's entry. Type your entry and    P/D
thats it, clicking MENU over the Entry gives you a menu of
options, The first two act as a CUT & PASTE, the next two
create a copy that can be pasted as many times as you like.
You can also print out the Days entry.

To get back press Shift-TAB, then click on 1 on the Calendar






























































































































Where's version 1.00?
=====================
I originally wrote version 1.00 in 1991, it didn't use fonts
it didn't use Risc OS 3 borders (they didn't exist),instead
it had lots of overlayed filled icons and it was slow.
So I rewrote it to use RO3 borders and Fonts       PAGE DOWN
and this is the result, !Journo 2.00.

The first version was never actually released, what happened
is that I sent it to Archimedes World, and they said that
they had no definate plans for it, but they would publish it
when they could find space for it.                 PAGE DOWN
That was 18 months ago, and I still haven't heard anything,
so I thought it would be a shame to miss out on such a good
chance of Publicising myself, and since I was nearing the
end of my University Course I decided to go for it. So here
it is, the start of DudleySoft offically. I've done demo's
and written a lot of junk, now finally its reality.      P/D
So if you feel like supporting a new Archimedes software
company, then Donations will be welcome, and when I write
the RISC OS printing part you will be entitled to prerelease
copies of the program. So dont be shy, help this guy!!!
